Grand Prize: Free ISRS membership for 2021, a special certificate and recognition in all ISRS media outlets

    How the Contest Works

    • Enter the contest by uploading your videos to the ISRS Multimedia Library.
    • Judges are looking for quality and depth of content, level of commentary, originality, novelty and educational value.
    • Videos will be judged by a panel of experts from the ISRS Multimedia Library Editorial Board.
    • The grand prize winner will receive a free ISRS membership for 2021, a special certificate and recognition in all ISRS media outlets.

    Rules and Guidelines

    • Any ISRS member or member-in-training may participate.
    • Videos submitted to the ISRS Multimedia Library between April 1, 2020 and August 15, 2020 will be judged.
    • Authors retain the copyright of the video but should not have already transferred it to a peer-reviewed material publication like a surgical technique manuscript.
    • If the video has been previously published in an open-access environment, please mention that resource in an email to isrs@aao.org.
    • By submitting a video, the author:
      • Agrees that all content in the video is his or her original work.
      • Gives ISRS the right to reuse the video in any manner the ISRS wishes.
    • Videos must be submitted in English, including the narration.
    • Best-quality video files (uncompressed) are preferred.
    • If the patient in the video is individually identifiable, the author will need to obtain written consent from the patient to publish the video on the Internet.
    • The ISRS Multimedia Library Editorial Board will determine if a video meets all criteria.
    • Participants may enter as many videos into the contest as they would like.

    Submission

    • Upload your videos at the ISRS Multimedia Library.
