• Enlarging (Secondary) Capsulorhexis (Crystalens) Description: A capsulorhexis wide enough is needed to allow forward axial movement of Crystalens. If this is not achieved primarily, before phacoemulsification, the rhexis can be widened safely, using Vannus scissors and rhexis forceps, after complete IOL implantation. Capsule should be refilled with OVD. Please, note the final size of the rhexis larger than Crystalens.
