• Phacoemulsification with IOL in brown subluxated cataract after acute glaucoma and atonic pupil Description: Case referred from colleague after phaco attempt, surgery had to be aborted after incisions + visco injection due to profuse subconj bleeding. Referring surgeon unable to wash visco out, hence acute glaucoma with iris atrophy and fixed dilated pupil. Case done with topical to avoid conj manipulation. Intraop finding of subluxated cataract. Viscoelastic trap technique described by Prof. David Chang and IOL scaffold technique described by Prof. Agarwal used in this case.
