• Pre Descemet's Endothelial Keratoplasty (PDEK) Description: This video shows pre-Descemet's endothelial keratoplasty (PDEK) which is a new technique described by Prof. Amar Agarwal for endothelial keratoplasty. It involves the transplantation of the Descemet's membrane with endothelium along with the pre-Descemet’s (Dua’s) layer. PDEK graft is harvested by the pneumatic dissection of donor cornea through type 1 big bubble. The technique showed early visual rehabilitation without interface changes and required no advanced equipments. PDEK graft can be harvested in donor eye of all age groups.
